Inner Threshold (1994-1995)

Defiance eventually stopped touring in support of previous albums, and by late 1994 some of its members began a new groove metal group called Inner Threshold. They decided to explore a different direction and sound. All new material was written and performed with a new lineup consisting of Adams (Guitars), Barrientos (Drums), Harrington (Guitars), Kaufmann (Bass) and White (Volcals). This band performed many local shows but never signed a recording deal. In 1995, Adams and White decided to leave and pursue other directions.

The remaining members and Chris Long (Vocals and Guitars) continued to write and perform as Under until retiring in 1999.
